Sanskrit is a programming language
Fact : NASA is researching on making 7th gen and 8th gen processors using Sanskrit as their main programming language for performance
As other people have said, word order in Sanskrit is interchanges that's true,
but it uses less words in a sentence than our Original English which is helpful in High-Level Programming Languages to reduce its size for performance.
For ex, consider a sentence
This verse is extracted from Subhashits in the Sanskrit Language.
चन्दनम् शीतलम् लोके चन्दनादपि चन्द्रमाः ।
चन्द्रचन्दनयोर्मध्ये शीतला साधुसङतिः ।।
Its Translation in English would be more complex so its divided in sentences :-
In this world the sandalwood is cool . The moon is cooler than even the sandalwood . The company of good people is cooler than the sandalwood and the moon.
In this comparison we can clearly see,
the difference of both languages. However, English is a part of Sanskrit only ; Sanskrit is mother of all Languages :- Greek, Latin etc. all have been evolved through Sanskrit.
If we compute this verse,
one character = 2 bits || 0 or 1 ||
8 bits = 1 byte
in Sanskrit it would be, it would 63 characters (without spaces ) with consonants and vowels or 126 bits.
that's somewhere around, 17 bytes
On the other side, English is somewhere 110 characters ( without spaces ) or 220 bits
That's , 27.5 bytes could be more advantageous in larger programs with huge amount of data in GBs.
However, computer can't just read or execute in Sanskrit,
It should be compiled and extended gradually evolving into a programming language.
And yes as NASA is working on Sanskrit it's Hiring Indians than anyone more, because Sanskrit was spoken in India and still is taught by many schools.
Recently, London has made the teaching of Sanskrit language compulsory.
I think in St. James School From V th Grade . The conclusion is that :-
It could be ideal as a programming language but it couldn't happen in this century or till 2060 . 10 % of the world population only knows the language and all its sutras, London is globalising it , for a better future.
Let's End with a Fact
